My filter is not working

Fri Mar 18, 2022 2:13 am

Mailwasher 7.12.67

Hello,

I receive spam on 2 addresses.

When I check the plain text mail in Mailwasher, I have text and a hyperlink that has the word "getcourse" in it.
I have tried everything and nothing works. The mails indicated in the list do not take into account my filter.

I even have a clear number and it's the same.

I do not understand.

I tried with the old version 7.12.57.0 but it's the same.

I can't put the whole text for security reasons unless you want it.

Thank you

If you have typed in plain text conditions that are not recognized when processing incoming email, read the source code to see if those messages were composed using Base64 encoding rather than plain readable text. Mailwasher does not parse Base64 in the filters section. You would have to filter based upon the Subject, or some other common details seen the the Headers. This could be the From, Received, Reply-to, Date, or X-Mailer details.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

I've been using Mailwasher since the beginning but didn't know it doesn't parse Base64 and the spam is Base64.
I have tried everything in the source but nothing is taken.
Even the domain name is not recognized (**.ru).

Except in "From" there is "mailer-deamon" and I don't want to filter it in case of bad sending.

Today, my Orange FAI must have found it because I no longer receive this spam (for the moment ;) )

Thank you for the link.

Good continuation.

I'm going to put "Solved".
