MW not starting after installation

Hello!

I tried to install/execute the latest downloaded version now with my Windows tablet and in a VirtualBox.

After installation I try to execute but after showing the logo nothing more happens.

Can you help me with this?

I don't have that setup to test with, first thing I would try is if you go manually into go into the VirtualBox? to find the folder
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher

Delete startup.xml and try to start MailWasher again.

Has the Windows Updates also been run within the virtual machine as well ?

I checked but I can't find any folder for Firetrust here: C:\Users\IEUser\AppData\Roaming\

Has MailWasher been working on this setup before ?

I'm wondering if VIrtualbox can run MailWasher out of the box, or if any special setup for .NET needs to be done ?

No, MW has not worked on this setup before.

Installation is completed without any error. But when starting MW after showing the logo nothing more happens.
(Same behaviour on my Windows tablet.)

OK, in C:\Users\ is there any other folder apart from IEUser, I would have expected it to be your machine username

For Virtual Servers IEUser is the "machine username" per default. I have not created another username. Installation of MW was done with this user.
