Registratio Key no longer works

I had to re-install Windows due to a malware problem and my registration key no longer works after I re-installed the product. I bought a lifetime upgrade version. Advice needed please.

You're using the one starting with AHY6 ?
Looks like it should be working from our side of things, are you getting a specific error ?

I tried registering again this morning - and this time it worked. Can't see what I did differently as I was copying from a text file with all the parameters for setting up my email accounts I had created from my previous setup before I did the fresh install of Windows.
