Hello community,

Since yesterday I have a problem starting Mailwasher. I use the current version of Mailwasher. I get an error message and Mailwasher closes.
A reinstallation has not improved this behavior.

Until two days ago Mailwasher ran without problems. I have not installed any other programs in the meantime.

My system configuration is:

My guess is that one of the settings files has been corrupted.

Do you have a back up from a few days ago when MailWasher was working? If so, restore all the MailWasher files and see if that gets you going.

Otherwise, take a copy of all the MailWasher settings files and then you can try deleting the settings files one by one. MailWasher will create the missing file and hopefully you'll get it running again. If you start with the likely candidates like Display.xml and GeneralSettings.xml hopefully you'll get MailWasher running pretty fast.

Try first going into C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher\ and delete the file startup.xml
See if MailWasher then starts.

If it does not, try running a .NET Repair
