Hi, after update to 7.12.97 version, there is a delay of about 10 seconds before starting to read emails: Seemes that there is an ' Automatic check' that blocks all other tasks for 10 secs.
After that, all works as usual.
Any ideas?

In MailWasher, go to Settings - General - Checking Mail.

Uncheck the first option, Check default accounts when MailWasher starts.

I wouldn't mind seeing some logs, 10 seconds sounds like a timeout, but with no errors showing it does sound odd.

To send logs go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent, so I can check the logs arrived all OK.

Yup, you're right, not sure where it's coming from, as there is no logging at that time either. We'll get that fixed up as soon as we can.

Hi there, any intermediate version we can test to help resolve this issue? I'm also in the 25 seconds range each time it launches. Thank you in advance.

There have been a few βeta releases — but none that address the specific issue being discussed on this thread.

As a matter of practice, βeta versions are not released to the general public — they are tested with the help of a different focus group.

I was just offering to help. Clearly you have a process that doesn't need it.
However, any chance this specific thread issue will be addressed in the near future? I don't keep MW running all the time and having to wait ~25 seconds each time it launches is painful.

Do you mean it starts fine but there is about a 10 second delay before the actual mail check kicks in...? if so, no, still on the list sorry, seems to be more of an issue than anticipated ...!
