Performance problem with one email

Fri Feb 10, 2023 1:54 pm

The past two days, which I think corresponds with installing the latest build, MWP has had a performance issue with an email from the same source that it's long handled without problem. Under View in HTML and Show Remote Content, it's showing the first part of the email and a banner across the top about a performance issue. I have to click on that to get the rest of the email to load. It's coming from crm.foreignpolicy.com

Give me an address and I can forward it to you. Thanks,

Yes, that's now normal for emails that don't fully download, hoping we can get it removed though and go back to how it was before as it is a bit of a pain... cheers!

That's by design — did you miss that new feature in the hidden βeta channels?

It was first introduced with the 7.12.99 βeta — mentioned (more than 2 months ago) at this hidden post.

It was mentioned again at this hidden post.

Finally, it was mentioned at this hidden post.

That "new feature" needs to strangulated with both hands . . . LoL — wonder whose "brilliant" idea it was to introduce such an useless feature. :facepalm

Weird formatting of this thread (or forum). It's hard to tell who wrote what. It looks like I wrote about strangulating the "new feature."

Yep, there's a mix-up of the quote tag on gingbat's post. :)

I'm finding with at least some emails that HTML and remote content effectively override the partial load.
