I've got 4 emails currently in my Inbox that shows this but it seems to be working so far, that said, I'm on a slightly different version than you.

There is a possible issue if the UTF8 encoding goes across multiple lines that breaks oddly, so I'll keep watching as they arrive.
Hello,

I too can't get filters to work when i have some french accentuated characters (ex. "é" "è" "à") in the string tested (object field).

The filters also don't seem to support Cyrillic characters... Just have run several tests, with negative results :(
As well as plain text filters...

Is that fix planned for the release next week ?

This bug is very embarrassing for me : many of my mails have some accentuated characters in the object field...

Have a good WE and hoping everything if fine despite the earthquake !

As long as this is not solved, you could work around this issue by ommitting the accented character. I've achieved this by splitting a filter in two lines, one controling the part of a word before an accented character, and another one for the last part. In my example I filter on the word "métaphore" .. and it works! (for me)! :)

Thanks,

This workaround can't work for me, because it's not about controlling a word containing an accentuated character, but controlling an expression with none (accentuated character) while such a character is present (for example in the object field) : in this case regex filter just don't work.

Thanks anyway !

Ok we'll take another look. We'd made a correction for one of the examples we had, but must have missed this.

Just downloaded 1.0.40 and no correction with this bug !

Sorry, but for any user language with accentuated character, this is very annoying :-(

1.0.40 is newer that the beta testers have, can't help you there.

Type in 'Mailwasher 1.0.40' into Google and you get a lot of hits. Please do not trust these downloads :thumbsdown :thumbsdown :thumbsdown - the latest release is 1.0.35!!!! Only down load from the Firetrust website.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE - DON'T FIX IT

I am only a ßeta Tester and getting older as well.

I see 39 as the latest beta but don't see 40 anywhere on the beta forum or on the main Firetrust site.

I don't even see your user listed as a beta forum member...

If you are grabbing random files off the web, well good luck!

1.0.35 is the latest version supported here until one of the Firetrust folks posts something newer.
