Hi Rex here, newbie.
I have been with Spamarrest.com since the beginning of time. I know it pisses people off, but I don't have it primarily for the challenge-response feature. I use it to isolate unverified email addys, so I can approve, delete or block them before downloading to Thunderbird. It sounds like MailWasher is at least as good or maybe a better substitute (except that you don't get a dedicated email addy, ZazuPitts@spammarest.com). BTW, the reason I am shopping for a substitute is because SA is raising it's prices from around $50 per year to $30 per MONTH. I don't know what is going on with the company, but that's a deal-breaker, and they did it with this curt, unfriendly announcement.
Anyway, if any of you are familiar with both services, comparisons and comments much appreciated. I have a bunch of email accounts for different purposes, so switching the way I do things is not a small issue.
Thanks!
