MWP not checking default email accounts

I am running MWP 7.12.125 on my desktop PC and also on my laptop (both running Windows 10).
The settings on Mailwasher are the same on both machines. I have 6 email accounts set up on both.
MWP on my desktop is working fine but recently on my laptop when I click on "Check default email accounts" nothing happens.
I have checked the account settings and they are identical on both computers.
Any suggestions why MWP has suddenly stopped working on my laptop please?

Does the error log tab show when you click check mail in MWpro? if so, check there and it may tell you more information... if ALL accounts are suddenly failing likely a firewall has updated or been installed and is now blocking MW all internet access.

Thanks for your reply.
I have now established by sending some test emails that only one email account is affected. Previously it turned out there were no messages on the other 5 email addresses at that time.
On the affected email address I get this error message in the log:

The settings on MWP for this email address are the same on my desktop computer and there it works fine.
If there was a firewall issue i assume this would affect all email addresses?

Yes, seen this a few times actually, usually deleting and re-setting up the account fixes it....
Open Mailwasher Pro and click, Settings>>Accounts, click your account and click, "Remove Account", click, "Yes, remove it", close and restart Mailwasher Pro.
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
On the next screen enter your email accounts password and click Save again.
NOTE: you will be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this.
If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab then you are all set.
If no better, how about you try importing the settings from the PC that IS working well....?
To do this, open the PC with MWPro working well, and in MWPro 7...
- Click File>>Export and save the file somewhere you can easily locate it (like your desktop).
- Copy the backup file to USB drive or similar so you can then move it to your other PC.
Then, after you have done this...
- open MWPro on the problem PC, click File>>Import, and import the file.

I have deleted and reset the account as you suggested and all seems to be working well now.
