Token does not match email

I changed the password for my main email accounts on Yahoo and was trying to change the passwords for Mailwasher Pro. I keep receiving an error message that I don't understand. The message is the following:

Token does not match the email address or received token is not valid ([email protected]) Please close this window and try again.

The username on my email account is [email protected]. The email address is [email protected]. Please, can you help me?

Yes, sure thing, you should be able to delete the current yahoo token file (eg: "username@yahoo,com_token") from under Help>>User Files>>Cache folder in MWpro, then check mail for those account/s again, it should ask you for permission again so you can enter the correct data....?

I have the same problem with my yahoo account now over 1 month.
Deleting the Token brings nothing, error always exist and a new Token is not generated.

Is there a possibility to go back to a former correct version of Mailwasher, as long as the
problem subsist ?

The most strange for me, even when I switch Yahoo Mail from imap to pop3, the beast continu to ask for Token and OAUTH.
Could there be an error in this account settings part of the software ?

Uff, after one month I have my Yahoo Mail account working again !
I did the following.
First I deleted the yahoo account and got out completely from Mailwasher.
After I created new account
Incoming
Server Type : pop3
Server address : pop.mail.yahoo.com
Username : [email protected]
Password : xxxxxxxxxxxxx
..... And there we are. I generated an app password in yahoo Mail security section for "Mailwasher Pro" and used this password as password above.
Remember password "yes"
Server port number : 995
Security connection: SSL/TLS
Pipelining both "yes"

SAVE Button
----> this will lead you to the Yahoo Login page where you enter with your normal password !

Outgoing

SMTP Server address : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Server Port Number ; 465
"yes" in field SMTP server requires authentification
"yes" in field Use same settings as my incoming mail server
Secure connection : TLS

And my account is working fine again in Mailwasher.
I passed so much time on this, dont try out IMAP, it is not working.

After this mod, no ask for Token again.

Great, glad to hear you got it sorted and thanks for that information too... next update should fix this as there is defiantly a issue with tokens in the current one, hoping for a release soon!
