EMails are not showing in the list unless I restart MWP

Hi guys !

Using MWP for many many years, I just added an email account but all the incoming mails are not showing up in the list ... unless I restart the application.

All the other accounts messages can be seen in the main list ...

Any help would be appreciated ;)

Possibly you need to check, "Include in default mail check" under Settings>>Accounts, click this account>>General Tab?

If that is already selected, click on the down arrow beside check mail and choose only that account to check mail for, does that work?

If so, yet it fails when you actually click the check mail button, try clicking, Settings>>General>>Checking mail, and drag the, "Check Throttle" to reliability, (1) (so MW checks the accounts one at a time rather than all at once) click Save and restart MW....?

The messages are ALWAYS showing up for the 8 accounts upon first start of MWP ... But only 7 of those 8 accounts shows the next emails to come in, the 8th one saying only that there's a mail (pop-up visual alert) and shows nothing unless I restart MWP ...

Sure thing, if what I recommended did not help, can I please have some logs as per below directions:

- Use MWPro until you get the error,
- Click Help>>Send Support Logs.
- Write a note referring to this post (copy/paste the link from the address bar in your web browser)
- Click "Send Logs"

Then, reply to this to let me know the logs have been sent in case they do not arrive for any reason...

Sure I'll do that, but i do NOT get any error message, it simply doesn't show the mails (i only the notification popup square saying that there is a new mail) ...

EDIT 15h44 : Message with logs and link to this thread in comments is SENT !!

Yes, got them thanks! and yes, you're right, there are no errors in any accounts for the last several mail checks.... which is the actual account that is failing though...? (just let me know 0-9 or account A).

Cool, ta for that and yes, that account just shows that there are 318 emails in the inbox, but no new read ones, so possibly there's none to display?

You could try setting MW to download read emails for say the last 2 or 7 days to see if that works for this account possibly? this option is under Settings>>Accounts, click your email account, and click the Incoming tab>>Advanced, and ensure that, "Download read emails" is ticked there.

You can also choose how many days you want the program to download mail for.

All the other accounts are set the same way (read all the mails !!) as the A account, and they show every new email ... Not the A one :'(

I never never had this problem, i'm gonna try a previous build of the app, maybe something there ...

Yes, odd the logs don't show any issues alright, let us know if you find a previous version helps....

Even with 7.12.67 this doesn't work ... Totally amazing !! Maybe something wrong on the GMail side of the account ...

I tested 4 or 5 different versions of MWP but no luck, only A account is not showing new incoming emails while all the others are ok ...

If there is anything else I can try, feel free to tell me :=)

Did you try changing the download read emails and/or how many days worth of emails to download just to experiment....?

yes i tried almost everything possible but MWP keeps "hiding" (kind of) mails from account A ...

Just check that View>>Show hidden emails is ticked, possibly one of your spam tools is set to hide the email?

If no, try changing the account type (under the incoming tab at the top) to POP just to see if that works....?

It was not ticked but it should have not display ANY email at all, even upon restarting MWP, so i am not sure that this is the source of the problem...

All my other accounts are all setup with the same settings (IMAP, SSL etc ...) and only account A is behaving weirdly under MWP ...
