I deleted my account and then reinstalled it but the same thing keeps on happening.

Snap, this is becoming ridiculous, following closely on the heels of the last issue viewtopic.php?f=50&t=58384&sid=2b7a8698 ... d&start=45
I have effectively had to uninstall MWP as it doesn't collect any mail to analyse.
So I'm having to download all email and watch my own back, what am I paying for ?

Sorry to say but this is a lame response, immediately start talking about what you paid for? Did you read any of the big threads about this issue? The solution is in there. Revert to 7.12.125 build and it will be working. They are investigating what is going on and trying to help us all as fast as possible with a solution and a explaination about what happened.
They are not creating errors on purpose! Consider that outside Firetrust there can be a dozen reasons why this could happen.

Thanks so much for the input. Reverting to the previous release has resolved the problem.

How do I revert to an earlier release? Will I lose my data?

Re: event log showing unknown error
What a bore for the editor's of this application but sadly the new update has not done the trick for me in that it seemed to work for a short period but has now reverted to showing an unknown error thought to be connected with my account details which are correcrt....so frustrating. I hope it will soon be back to working faultlessly as before!

Re: event log showing unknown error
Yes, that is odd, as it's working for 99%... if an account is failing, try this....
* Open Mailwasher Pro and click, Settings>>Accounts, click your account and click, "Remove Account", click, "Yes, remove it",
* Then click Help>>User Files, open the cache folder and delete the folder named, "MSAL". (IF there)
* Close and restart Mailwasher Pro.
* In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
* Click the Incoming tab and click "Sign in with... (your provider here)", follow the prompts and you'll be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this.
(*NOTE: if the "sign in with ...." option does not show, enter your email account password and click Save)
* If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab, refresh folders on the IMAP tab (IF asked) and you are all set.
