Yahoo mail is not being checked by MW

My Yahoo account is not being checked by MW. I downloaded the update and Gmail is being checked but not Yahoo. In settings in MW, I am asked to sign into MW and then Yahoo asks me to approve MW to have access to my email. i approve and yet MW Yahoo server test fails. What am I doing wrong? I would have expected to have Yahoo generate a MW program for me. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

OK cancel my request. I went back into MW settings for my Yahoo account and on a lark switched it from IMAP to Pop and it worked. I have no idea why. I have used IMAP settings since forever but hey, it is working now. Good night all.

After updating to version 7.12.188 I still have the same issue with Yahoo mail. Whilst emails from Gmail are retrieved and displayed correctly this is not the case with Yahoo. I am still getting errors of "Failed to log in to IMAP server" and "Unknown error". I have tried switching from IMAP to POP3 but it still fails to connect to server. Any suggestions?

1. Try deleting the Yahoo! account and setting it up again.

2. If that doesn't help, there are some instructions at viewtopic.php?f=50&t=58513&start=210#p168514 though I don't know whether that will affect your Gmail account, so you might want to see if someone from Firetrust responds, or contact Firetrust support - see the links in the bottom right corner of this page.
