I am using 7.12.125 and it works fine for me. I once tried 7.12.173 and had all kind of trouble. I don't seem to be able to use OAUTH, and still use a 16 digit secure code. My email is through AT&T. But an example of the addresses I use would be: [email protected] - and they use Yahoo. It gets confusing. I'm using POP3.

I see there is a version of Mailwasher Pro 7.12.193 (found on Softpedia). But my main question is: Are the older versions considered secure? Or are the newer versions MORE secure? -- not counting OAUTH.

Yes, both versions are just as secure as one another, the .193 version is the current beta version and has better support for OAUTH, next beta will have even further changes to OAUTH which should help if users are having connection issues with Microsoft accounts in particular....

@gingbat: Thanks for your reply. I'll keep 7.12.125 on my main machine. Later I will try the newer versions to see what works, but only on a non-production machine in my shop. I have been lazy this winter and not wanted to heat my shop just to test one piece of software.

no problemo, and yes, .125 should continue to work fine anyways...
