Sorting

Hi,

I recently re-installed Mailwasher, and have found that its 'sorting' ability has largely gone.

It will sort by 'from', but not by either 'subject' or 'arrived' (which I assume means date).

Can anyone provide some clue as WIGO, or what I have missed.

Yes, not exactly sure what you mean sorry, as you just click any columns title bar to change the sort order, click again to reverse the order....?

Possibly send some screenshots of what you are seeing....?

Hi all,

(Gingbat thanks for your interest).
In previous installations clicking the arrows worked well.

Please refer attached...it appears to be sort DATE within same 'from' groups, not in it entirety.
Further the sort direction in 'arrived' shows up/down/none.

None??

Ahh ok, looks like you have grouping enabled, possibly you were not using this before...?

Click "Display Options" (shows on your screenshot) and ensure that "Show grouping bar" is ticked, then you can see the grouping bar just above the MW column title bars.

Drag the column group icons away from there and release to stop MW from grouping the emails... that should correct the sort order....
