Just installed the new version and can't get rid of the"helpful" information (Welcome to...) in the Preview Pane. It will disappear if I hide the Preview Pane but is still there when I reshow the Pane. How do I get rid of it?
Thanks,

Re: Start Up Garbage
It appears once per session if you have the preview enabled, if you select an email it will go away until you next launch MWP.

And the same holds true for the Recycle Bin as well.anniebrion wrote:It appears once per session if you have the preview enabled, if you select an email it will go away until you next launch MWP.

Re: Start Up Garbage
Usual practice is to show this sort of guff once. And only once. (I refer you to that role model we all follow, 'Microsoft.)
Dismiss it and you will never see it again, no matter what you do.
Please change this in future releases.
I don't like it either.

Re: Start Up Garbage
I on the other hand want to be able to get it back without having to restart MW. Don't care if it is never shown unless asked for or not.

Re: Start Up Garbage
Yes, I too desire the option to be permanently rid of the Welcome screen with all its clutter and intrusive cat. I might just tolerate it during the trial period, but not after purchase.
