mobile me and mailwasher pro 2010

Sun Jul 11, 2010 8:55 pm

Hello I seem tot have a problem (or maybe I don't understand the use of Mobile Me).

I am using an Apple Mobile Me account. After checking my email for this Mobile Me account with Mailasher Pro 2010 I see all my new and old e-mails.
Using the button wash email seems to have no effect. I only want to see new mails in Mailwasher Pro on this account after washing the old emails.
For all my Pop3 accounts Mailwasher Pro works perfectly but Mobile Me is something different. Who knows the answer?

Is it an IMAP account? If it is then you can just move your messages out of the inbox once you have your mail client open.

There has been some discussion of more options for IMAP type accounts in an upcoming release.

Who knows?

Their web site seems to be design for Macolytes. The sort of people who need to have their hands held throughout the process.

Apple - MobileMe.

It took quite some searching to arrive here:

MobileMe: Configuring third-party email applications

Looks like IMAP only.
For Account Type, choose IMAP.
Er, unless you read further down.
If you are configuring the account as POP, the Incoming server changes from 110 to 995.
