it doesn't download the email automatically. I have to sync to get the email through.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's by design, otherwise if you opened WLM without using MailWasher it would download all your emails bypassing MailWasher completely.


Some of the beta testers are working on a small application that intend to trigger a download automatically, so hopefully within that WLM can be included.

You could of course set WLM to check on startup, that will be in it's general options, but as above, you run the risk of it grabbing all the emails when you didn't want it to.

I was thinking about this some more last night and it occurred to me that WLM worked fine and checked mail after washing with previous version of MWP. Might just go back to that one....

You've have to trust me when I say this. There is absolutely no difference, both versions of MailWasher operate exactly the same way when it comes to the email program.
