After it has downloaded mail, the Wash icon stays greyed out. Does this only work after you have purchased the product?

Has it finished fetching? Does the status in the bottom left say Idle.

No it says Stop. And I still can't get rid of the "Not to me" Status

It look like the fetch has has a problem Send the logs to rusticdog with a like to this thread and beta as the ticket number.

The exit MWP and restart it.

BTW, If the triangle tab is flashing this also indicates a problem and the log might give you some insight.

In the Help menu click "Send Support Logs" The fill in the boxes:Click the "Send Logs" button.

Note: The circled account will differ on your system.

Not to me status, do you have a filter by that name? Try turning it off and checking your mail, it may have a coding error in one of the rules.

If that fixes it try posting the filter that is causing the problem and someone may have a sugggested fix.

There is a filter called "Not to me" in which I have put my email address. When I receive mails through MW, one of the headings is "Status". It is under this heading that "not to me" appears every time. Is this filter necessary?

All filters are optional but they can be handy for classifying messages.

If you turn it off and things improve it just means you have a typo or other minor issue with the filter. If you post what you have in it someone should be able to help you get it working.
