I am curious why there was a need for this latest update? The old one worked fine for me, can't say the same for this thing. I am using WinXP with Outlook Express. All of my emails are received but when I click to wash, it will wash a few emails and then it locks up and this irritating message box comes up stating "Dispatcher processing has been suspended, but messages are still being processed." What does that mean? This box does have the X to close and an "OK" button but neither work, surprise, surprise. And this stupid box cannot be moved or deleted in any way so there it is displayed on my screen at all times. I also cannot get back into Mailwasher once this error message comes on until I reboot. Then I get to go through this whole process again. And I paid for this update, must have had rocks in my head. Of course at the bottom of the Mailwasher screen I am reminded that my "trial" ends in 29 days. I paid $10 for a trial? To say that I am a little unhappy with this update would be a mild understatement.

Hi Meandy
Enter the License code you were sent into Help >> Registration.
As for the crashing, when you start MailWasher do you see a Crash Reporting screen and if so have you sent the details through ?
Thanks

Yes, the registration code has been entered but it is still freezing up but the error message doesn't always show up. There has been no Crash Report screen either. It is like this new MW Pro is working intermittently because it will work ok for awhile and then it will freeze up.

If not, just wait until you do, then do the above.

OK. If you've had a problem with MailWasher freezing today can you go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number and Send Logs.Meandy wrote:Yes, the registration code has been entered but it is still freezing up but the error message doesn't always show up. Re: MailWasher Pro: 2010 error message
Ok, I wrote all that down and will try it, assuming I can keep MW on long enough to get it done. It is now freezing up after downloading only a few messages. And it did it twice today so I had to use the old version in order to get messages. I noticed something else the one time it didn't cause me grief. When I shut it down, a msg. at the bottom of the screen identified it as the beta version which I did not download.

Let me know when you've sent the logs.

I thought we'd removed that beta text. Either way, just ignore that, purely cosmetic.Meandy wrote:Ok, I wrote all that down and will try it, assuming I can keep MW on long enough to get it done. Re: MailWasher Pro: 2010 error message
It is still freezing up, am still getting the Dispatcher error and I have been sending logs on a regular basis. I tried to use it again today and it froze immediately which means I have to shut it down using the Task Manager and then open it again to send the log.

Re: MailWasher Pro: 2010 error message
I just sent you another log but when I checked to see if it had been sent, all of those I sent show an error occurred when I sent them. So I guess you haven't received any of them. I don't know what else to try.

Click Help then User Files, locate the autosupport.eml file and e-mail it to him as an attachment using your regular mail program. Address is [email protected] include a link to this topic and you'll save him having to dig it up.

Re: MailWasher Pro: 2010 error message
I did as you suggested but I sure didn't find any autosupport.eml file. There are a lot of folders that came up so am I supposed to check inside each folder?
I can't even use this new version, had to go back to the prior one because now I get a new error message: Cannot call Arrange on a UIElement with infinite Size on NaN. Parent of type 'System.windows.Controls.Grid' invokes the UIElement. Arrange called on element of type 'System.Windows.Shape.Rectangle.' It comes up immediately upon opening Mailwasher Pro 2010.

I don't know what to say, every time I send or attempt to send logs I get the autosupport.eml file.
On your startup problem have you been letting Windows kill MW at shutdown or ended it from task-manager? That can sometimes not give MW enough time to update its files. You might try renaming your startup.xml file in the same directory and see if you can then start MW. Don't delete it rusticdog may want a copy to see what went wrong.

Re: MailWasher Pro: 2010 error message
I have no choice but to use Task Mgr. to shut down MW because MW freezes up and I can't do anything at all. And regardless of what I do when I try to send logs or the user files, I have never seen a screen like the one you show. When I tried the user files all I got was several folders, none were what I would call files, they were documents that opened up on a webpage.

That is a screenshot of Windows Explorer on Windows XP showing the proper directory to open. You would need to change the Stan to your user name to be in the right spot onb your computer. If you aren't using XP let the others here know what you have and they can point you in the right direction.

Have you tried to uninstall, wipe user files when prompted, and then install the latest version ?
