Sorry my bad english,
How can I exit Mailwasher? Is it possible over a command line?
I would like before I exit Windows, mailwasher close.

You could use the windows
taskkill command to kill the
MailWasherPro.exe &
MailWasherProApp.exe tasks, but this is not as tidy/safe as using exit from MWP's menu
You could write a script using
AutoIT to close MWP via its taskbar menu. I might have a go at this as I would like to exit MWP via a schedule

No problems at all.
Is there a reason in particular you would like MailWasher to exit before Windows ?

Thanks, i test AutoIt!
I exit Windows with the 12Ghost Tool "Shutdown". Mailwasher show a error at a restart of Windows.
Thinks Mailwasher is not exited correctly.

OK great. We just fixed the problem you describe in MailWasher 1.0.4.
So if you go Help >> Check for Updates >> install the new version and you won't get these crash reports anymore.

The attached AutoIT application will close MWP, but if you start MWP again without rebooting or before shutting the PC down then you will be prompted to send an error log, you should just click the ignore button if this happens. I've not yet found a way to close without the error
The application just checks to see if either the
MailWasherPro.exe and/or
MailWasherProApp.exe processes are running, if they are it ends them. You might need to run this under admin.

Not always possible if you are doing stuff in a script.
Anyhow, the OP was having a problem due to a small logic problem in the earlier version that is fixed now in the latest

So they will not need to close MWP manually prior to shutdown

This version opens MWP and chooses Exit from the file menu

No error log screen as MWP closes normally

hello anniebrion,
i have installed version 1.04.
Close MWP V2 opens MWP but the programme, however, is not closed.

Strange

What version of windows are you using?
I's working fine under Windows7x86-64HP & Windows XPx86Home
