Hello, I've been using Mailwasher Pro for many years now and decided to upgrade to the latest version. My question is the Mailwasher Icon. Is there a setting to change the color of the Icon in the taskbar? I got so used to seeing the gray on my old version. Thanks.

No not at present, though I'm beginning to think we might need to offer something later down the line. The main reason was to just avoid confusion, as having the same icons for two very different programs isn't too smart, especially for those people who decide not to uninstall the old version.

Yes, a variety of colors. Another thing that was useful in a program I had called ePrompter. When you had more than one account, it displayed a different color icon depending on what account had mail, when mail arrived. I had my icon to display red, when AOL mail arrived, and Blue when comcast mail arrived. That was handy. And it gave a diffenent wav sound for when I received aol mail, and comcast mail . That was useful. I think those added features would be cool

Yeah, some of those would be very useful. We do plan on improvements like this, it's just a matter of finding the time. Once the more important issues (bugs) are sorted we can look at some of the more flavourful settings.

Thank you rusticdog. I have used Mailwasher Pro paid version for many years now. Heck I can't remember the first version I used but the latest I had was 5.3. These suggesting I hope you do follow up on. Thanks for taking the time to answer

No problems, the 5.x versions are my preferred....except for the new one of course. I think things went south for us with 6.x range
