I suspect that the issue is simply that I'm dense. Be that as it may...

I just changed the password to my Yahoo account. I then went into MailWasher Pro, Settings | Accounts and selected Yahoo. That gives me an account description, an email address, and a box to check for "Include in default email check." But I don't see anywhere for entering the new password.

I obviously had to have entered the original password some time in the deep, dark past, but I just don't remember how I did it, and I haven't been able to find anything relevant in the Mailwasher settings.

Would someone please tell me how to change the password?

Well, I didn't get a response to my question, but in the meanwhile I stumbled into a solution, which I now mention here in case anyone ever faces the same problem.

I thought I'd create a second email account, "Yahoo 2," with the same settings as the original one.I figured that since a place for the password had appeared when I originally set up MailWasher, it would appear again when I created this second account. It didn't happen. When I tried to save the "Incoming" information for this second account, a pop-up appeared, saying that an identical account already existed. So I deleted that new account. But when I did so, another pop-up appeared, this one allowing me to log into Yahoo, whereupon I entered the password and MailWasher then downloaded my messages. Everything now works as it did before.

No idea why it worked this way, but I'm not complaining.

Yes, there is no actual password field for Yahoo accounts in MW, as it uses OAUTH to connect so you enter the password on a web app field after clicking "Sign in With Yahoo" under the incoming tab within MWPro, if you change your password with Yahoo, you should just need to click that, then re-sign in..
