Headers

Hi, I hope somebody can help me. I love MW 2010 but when I preview my mail, I don't see all the headers without clicking on the little plus sign. What I mean by headers is when I preview my mail, I don't see the person name or all the other peoples who the mail went to. Is there anyway to displays the headers without clicking on the little plus sign every time I open up MW 2010 like in the older versions? Hope you can understand my question.

Thank you,
Claudia

Hi Claudia

The To field shouldn't be blank like that. Can you go into the source view, and copy/paste that into an email for me and send to [email protected]

Thanks

I know why the To field is blank like that, because the person use the BCC field instead of the To field like I do. That wasn't my question anyway. My question was Is there anyway to displays the headers without clicking on the little plus sign every time I open up MW 2010 like in the older versions?

Thank you,

Thank you,
If you are using the Preview pane and enable the added information the setting is remembered when you close/restart MWP.

Mine keeps the header open for all messages once I've clicked on the little + sign there.

If I manually exit MW that setting is saved for next time I start MW.

I haven't tried it with letting Windows kill MW at shutdown so if you are doing that try a manual exit and restart to see if it keeps the setting then.

My guess is that you are using the Pop Out window for message preview. If I expand the header it stays that way from message to message. However the setting apparently is not being saved when MWP is closed.

RD, this should be put on the "fix" list to retain the setting on close.

Yes I am using the Pop Out window for message preview. Would you please put on the "fix" list to retain the setting on close.

This also goes for the preview windows size & position, but I though that was on RD's mystical list :devil

When I use the preview window I have it below the Inbox and every thing seems to stay put and the headers option stays open through shut down.

I like having more entries in my inbox list and only double click on the odd email that requires a closer look, this window only remembers its settings until MWP is restarted then the settings reset to default :(

Probably semantics but that was what I was trying to communicate to RD:
