I tried to install the update but would not allow me to. I went back to install previous version and got a message saying it was still running in the background. Checked services, Apps, registry and unable to find anywhere. I am keen to get Mail Washer back on my computer. Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, can you uninstall MWpro normally, restart your PC, then try installing again?

If no better, another option is to install the free Revo Uninstaller and wipe out any traces of MW:

Reboot again and reinstall the latest version....
