No mail after connecting to outlook365

Hello, I recently installed mailwasher 7 pro. After fiddling around I got it to connect to outlook365 without any error.
However, when I click check mail, no email downloads, and there is nothing in the error log.
Even new incoming email do not download.
What am I missing?

Yes, been seeing this a bit since a recent Microsoft update, please email support at firetrust dot com referring to this post and we'll send you a beta version to try?

I have found 7.15.10 works with office365, but had to uninstall 7.15.19 as that has the error you reported.

Yes, that's odd, as usually no issues with the new .19 version re office so far.... what is the actual error or problem exactly....?

There is no error code given. Just as OP reported the email check happens, no emails are found (in 7.15.19), even though there are emails waiting in Outlook.
And 7.15.10 finds them.

OK, options are either to continue with the .10 version, or try the below as there's no reason .19 should not work just as well....
Please delete the problem email account first:
Settings>>Accounts, click the account>>Remove Account.
Click File>>Exit to close MWpro, then re-open it.
Then setup the account/s again:
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
Click the Incoming tab and click "Sign in with Microsoft", follow the prompts and you'll be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this.
If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab, refresh folders on the IMAP tab (IF asked) and you are all set.
Please let me know how it all goes....

Hi gingbat,
I'm not the OP, but wanted to see if my comments could help.
I tried your suggestions, but hit problems.
Added the account but clicking "Sign in with Microsoft" did nothing (this may be the source of the problem?). I went to IMAP and was taken to the Microsoft sign in for my account. After authenticating I saved, but there was no option to allow MW access to the account.
Then, when I go to IMAP, I get in a loop of Microsoft sign in. The check does not show existing emails, still.

Sure thing, if you are using there .19, yes, it 'should' indeed work perfectly... try running MWPro as admin and see if that helps?
If no, can I please have some logs as per below directions:
- Use MWPro until you get the error or problem
- Click Help>>Send Support Logs.
- Write a note referring to this post (copy/paste the link from the address bar in your web browser)
- Click "Send Logs"
Then, reply to this to let me know the logs have been sent in case they do not arrive for any reason...

OK, I tried removing/shutting down/re-adding the account as administrator, no difference. I disabled my antivirus, too.
I've sent the logs.

Very sorry but no, no logs were received? no problem though, we'll use another method to get these....
- Open MWpro.
- Click, Help>>User Files>>Logs,
- Right click on the "logs" folder.
- Click Send to >> Compressed, (Zipped) folder.
- Move/Save the resulting .zip folder to your desktop.
- Reply to this email in your email client and click it's "Attach" button, and send the .zip folder to support at firetrust dot com referring to this post.

OK, done.
The original logs might have been sent under a different email to the one I use for this forum.

Great, ta for those, received just fine.... and yes, not sure that your account actually supports IMAP access, as all the info I can find on it mentions exchange only, not IMAP...
If that is the case, MWPro wont work as it only works with accounts that have POP or IMAP enabled.
The only way to find out for sure would be to contact your account provider....
Another possibility is that IMAP is available for this account, but is disabled....
To enable IMAP for a Microsoft account, you can do the following:
Log into your Microsoft accounts webmail page first.
Go to Settings
Select Mail
Select Forwarding and IMAP
Toggle the slider for Let devices and apps use IMAP to ON
Select Save

I'll stick to using 7.15.10, since that works happily with my office365 IMAP account.
