SMTP Port 587
Comcast has required us to change our SMTP port from 25 to 587 and "require authentication". We are using Outlook. After changing the SMTP port in MailWasher (Pro 6.5.3) email accounts to match we are unable to "restore emails" from the Recycle Bin. Any knowledge of this problem and a solution? Thanks.

I use Comcast and port 587 and have no trouble restoring emails. Have you ticked any other options?

That looks to be a question about MW version 6 and really should be asked in the V5 and v6 forum, not the one for MW 2010.
You didn't mention that you had changed the requires authentication setting in MW, did you do that? Look at the advanced account settings for the tick-box.

I am not a Firetrust employee just a MW user.

Oops, sorry 'bout the incorrect forum, yes the authentication setting was checked. Thanks.stan_qaz wrote:That looks to be a question about MW version 6 and really should be asked in the V5 and v6 forum, not the one for MW 2010.
