after running 7-15-10 for a while now and check for updates I get a pop up saying Found new updates for MWP and it lists
7-12-6
7-12-1
7-11-10
7-9-0
7-8-0

these are all lower than my current lifetime license so i have not clicked on them

why do i keep getting this pop up

Hi Ron,
Yes, this can happen sometimes if update from the Free version to the Pro version.

Please backup first via File>>Export, (you likely wont need this, just in case any problems), then uninstall MWPro and click YES to save your user data files.

Restart your PC and reinstall from here:

I did not update from the free version I have had the lifetime ver for years, do you still want me to follow the instructions above

Yes, I'd still try that, it wont likely cause any issues but just ensure you do backup first just in case.

I assume that the backup will keep my settings is that correct?

Yes, indeed it will, but to be double sure, you could save all files in the folder that opens when you click Help>>User Files in MWpro to another location as a secondary backup.....

(Just in case the backup fails for some unknown reason)

Hi ginbat, Ron here looks like all went well and MWP is now working as it should except fo the version number it is now 7.15.19 is this correct, also the page that came up was signed your new firetrust overlords is this also correct

Yes, 7.15.19 is the correct/latest version....?
