Something strange / huge resource + little performances
I use Eudora for checking mail. I have multiple accounts, on many servers. This is happening every day since 1996 (anyway the version changes until several years ago). Why are people developing useless interfaces for programs ? Why are they using so great resources for just displaying several words (yes, E-mail means words). I was and I'm still confused. MW 2010 is a great program for checking mail. Why so many colors, visual effects, and other bullshits ? The main feature of the program is to check POP3 accounts and analyze if there is something wrong with some words inside the messages. For running MW 2010 in a decent way you need a quad core 3Ghz processor and 4GB RAM. Why ? In the hurry world we live now you have to make rapid software - I have to wait for seconds for every new message to display in MW 2010. And I receive 100 to 300 mails a day (good ones, the spam ones are counted separately). This is not normal (even after upgrading to 1.0.6 it behaves the same).

So when you select a message it takes several seconds to display in the Preview area ?
Try switching off the option to display unread emails in bold, under Settings >> Display....

I have this option already disabled ... there is no difference. Definitely, I want that feature enabled = to see new messages.

So what then do you mean by "I have to wait for seconds for every new message to display in MW 2010" ? It's slow downloading ?

Yes, sometimes, for some messages (from the green list) it takes 2 to 4 seconds to click and display a message. It is very slowwwww ...

Re: Something strange / huge resource + little performances
Is that happening after you have checked a lot of messages? When I start off MW is decently fast (not as fast as v6) and you can scan down a bunch of messages with no problem. I see the slow-down on my system after checking 1000 or so and need to exit/restart to get back up to speed. It is very frustrating to sit and stare for 3 to 5 seconds after clicking on the next message in the grid. Trying to track down why but not seeing a lot of CPU or disk being used while MW thinks about showing me the next message.
I am not a Firetrust employee just a MW user.

OK, we've still got logging in place for this I think, so if you can reproduce the problem first then go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number >> Send Logs.
