OMG this new version is slow. What happened? The last version i had did DL's INSTANTANEOUSLY!

Takes forever to make a connection with the mail servers

Takes forever to select lines to highlight for delete

Takes forever to perform the actual "wash".

Am I doing something wrong here?

Under Settings >> Display >> try turning off the option to show unread emails in bold. There seems to be something in there causing slowness.

The slow Wash we've just made a fix for and that will be out later this week, probably tomorrow.

With regards to the slow connection to the mail servers, send me your logs. Go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number >> Send Logs >> and I'll take a look
