The double-click preview pane

I don't use the preview pane; I like the screen to fill with only email headers. So when I want to see what an email contains, I doubleclick the message and get a child window showing the contents (along with some fairly nifty options).

My problem is that "sometimes" the child window pops onto the screen with the control bar offscreen at the top. I can't grab it to move the window and all I can do is hit [Esc] to close it. Not a major thing but "sometimes" it works just fine. I've been unable to detect the pattern.

I would have given you the name of that preview window but I can't see the header :(

I'm on 2010.1.0.10 and my screen is 1024x768

Hi Chaz

We've made a fix for this next version that properly saves the size and position of the Preview Window. Not sure when we plan to release the next version, it really comes back to how many fixes we get done, though we are having some issues with other display areas so it might be sooner rather than later. Certainly within the next couple of weeks.

You should be able to right click on the pop out window icon on the tray and select Move to regain control.
