Since a few days Mailwasher only shows Archived GMail messages.
eMails from my GMail inbox are only shown when they are marked as SPAM.
I have not changed anything in the settings of Mailwasher.
What has changed in the algorithm of Mailwasher that causes this behavior?
But more importantly, what can I do to change this behavior so that it acts like before?

Yes, nothing change in MW, gmail must have changed something on their end....
There's a couple of things you could try here.... please log into your gmail webmail page at www.gmail.com
1.) IF using POP in MWpro, lick the Cog/Gear Icon, then click, Settings > Forwarding and POP > POP Download > Check Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on.
Then scroll down and click Save Changes.
2.) At the same location on the gmail webmail page, enable IMAP, then in MWPro, click, Settings>>Accounts, click your Gmail account, click the Incoming tab, and beside "Server Type:" select IMAP in place of POP.
Click save to save changes.
Then, MW will only show new unread emails by default, not ALL of them....
3.) You are already using IMAP, and have the ALL MAIL folder set to display for this account, that gmail folder shows all mail including any you have deleted, so even if you delete mail, it'll continue to show in MW.
Open MWPro, click Settings>>Accounts, click your [email protected] account, click the click the IMAP tab and de-select all folders except for the inbox (and possibly spam if you wish).
Save changes, restart MWPro.
