Starting tutorial

I'm a long time MW user. The starting animation is great for newbies, but I want it off. I can't get it to uncheck to show at startup. It does nothing when I click on it. I remember having this problem a while back with a different version, but can't remember what to do to shut it off. Any help will be appreciated.

That would be annoying.

Go Help >> User Files >> then close MailWasher so it's not running >> open the startup.xml file in Notepad, you should be able to do this by holdingdown Shift and right clicking the file >> select Open With >> ...then choose Notepad.


Look in the file for this line, it should be almost at the very bottom

and change the True to False
