I wish we had more filter colors, I could use a half dozen each in blue, green, gray, yellow, orange and red in addition to the ones we have now. I realize there is a possibility of collisions between the grid colors and filter colors but I could live with that.
Another user on the suggestion forum also asked for a transparent choice for the filter background so you would just have text over the default line color, that might be nice too.
A couple more options for text color would also be nice, give us the same text choices for text as we get for backgrounds and let the users deal with invisible combinations.
Maybe this could be changed so that it looked like the actual grid line would look.

Re: Please - More & Different filter colors
I'd go for a color palette that gave us either RGB or Hue/Color/Saturation Control or BOTH such as either the old MWP v5/v6 color picker or one similar to this (from my SnagIt Mac Beta implementation):
How about this color palette for both the Background AND the Text colors???? (i.e. same palette with two separate settings choices)

Re: Please - More & Different filter colors
That would be neat to have in the GUI options.
There is a hack to do that now but you'd have to edit the XML filters file and it is not supported.

Yes, more color options for the GUI (or at least the grid), please!
(I'm not currently using anything other than the default filters, but I'll back you up on this, as well.
