I need help

Fri Mar 07, 2025 8:20 pm

GunSpinHi everyone,

I am using MailWasher Pro 7 and am having trouble setting up a filter for spam emails. Specifically, I would like to know how to create a filter to automatically delete or mark emails from certain addresses that I have received many times but do not want. I have tried going to the "Filters" section but am not sure how to add conditions and set them up correctly.

Can anyone help me with detailed instructions on how to do this? Thank you very much! :thumbsup

Yes, options are to either add the sender to your blacklist via right click >> add sender (OR domain if a uncommon one, eg, not gmail etc) to blacklist, then if you wish, set the blacklist to auto delete:

To auto delete senders you have already added to your blacklist click Settings>>Spam Tools>>Blacklist>>Options, tick, "Auto delete blacklisted emails".

OR, setup a filter for these, setup a filter using this full email address within MWPro, then once you find it is working correctly and not catching any legitimate emails, set it to auto delete the email, eg:

Check out the Filter tips here:

And under, Help>>Help>>Topics>>Spam Tools>>Using Filters for details on making a filter.

You can set your filters, (Settings>>Spam Tools>>Filters>>click a filter>>Edit) to auto delete by selecting this option under the Actions tab there...

Any problems, please let me know.
