I am finding that many (apparently not all) of the emails I have downloaded in my email client are still appearing in MWP 2010 Inbox. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to prevent it?
Any help much appreciated!

Re: Downloaded emails still appearing in Inbox
There is a known problem with the grid software that is being used. The vendor supplying the software need to provide FT a fix. When this occurs just select a message in the grid and then depress C and Yes or right click and select Clear Message list. That will clear the grid. Then you can do a Check Mail and only the messages that are on the server should be showing.

Re: Downloaded emails still appearing in Inbox
After sorting my mail in Mailwasher 2010 and clicking on the soap icon, my Friend mail goes to my email program just fine. But when I open Mailwasher again later, all those Friend mails that I forwarded are still in Mailwasher. Nothing cleared away. I'm not too comfortable with the "clear" solution and figure they just need to fix this issue.

The clear solution is completely harmless, all it does is remove the messages from the grid, it makes no changes to your mail server.
If they come back on your next check mail then you might want to look at your e-mail program and make sure it is not set to "leave messages on server" or anything similar. If the mail program doesn't know that they are supposed to be deleted once downloaded they will keep appearing in MW.
You can mark them for delete in MW and it will remove them on the next wash too but the e-mail program setting is less hassle.

Using Outlook 2010 and can't find such setting. This new MW Pro program is driving me crazy . Still can't figure out what advantage this new program offers to me but have figured out that the owners of the program needed to get $10 a year from their users. I would have prefered if we were told this and left the program working as it did.stan_qaz wrote:make sure it is not set to "leave messages on server" or anything similar. Re: Downloaded emails still appearing in Inbox
The v6 version still works and still has a lifetime purchase, no expire date. Updates are going to be limited to bug-fixes with no new features added.
I can't help on Outlook but if you search the forum someone may have posted the info you need.
