Is there a way to make the Action Buttons smaller?

They are huge, and take up valuable vertical real estate!
(Talking about the Check Mail, Wash Mail and Thunderbird buttons on the Inbox tab.)

Use the Quick Display pull down, Zoom and left box - slide to 20% if you want.

Not exactly obvious what is being zoomed there!
I searched for 30 minutes for that knob!

We would love to bring more attention to this kind of feature, we aren't sure the best mechanism yet....on startup for first time use is no good, there's enough information to soak up already.
We'll keep thinking on that ....

There are room for more action buttons in that field. It would be great to have a few more buttons with some of the options you find in the Email menu or be able to add you own buttons....just an idea

Just a tool-tip on mouse-over would have helped, e.g.: "Zoom button size"
I would have found that in short order. As it was, I didn't find it at all.
