Viewing incoming e-mails under Text

On viewing incoming e-mails under Text, I don't see any text.
If I click on the Reply tab, then I see the message in my Outlook e-mail. If I then close Outlook down and then click on the Text tab, I then see the missing text - any reasons, why I don't see it first go?
