(NOTE: Gmail's OAUTH wont work if you have google Advanced Protection enabled)
To update your current MWpro (or Free) version, (check under Help>>About to see what you are using now) you can either open MWPro and click Help>>Check for Updates and install, OR, install from here:
Pro:

(NOTE: I advise a backup before any updates within MWPro as per directions at bottom of this email just in case any unforeseen issues)
After installation is complete, click Settings >> Accounts, click your gmail account >> Incoming tab>>Advanced and under "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" select OAUTH as per below screenshot:
(NOTE: if you prefer to use POP instead of IMAP for any reason, click the button beside "Server Type:" and select POP3)

IF problems with the above, please delete the problem email account first:
- Settings>>Accounts, click the account>>Remove Account.
- Click File>>Exit to close MWpro, then re-open it.
- In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
- Click the Incoming tab and click "Sign in with Gmail", follow the prompts and you'll be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this
- If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab, refresh folders on the IMAP tab (IF asked) and you are all set.

Here's how to backup your MWPro settings:
Open MWPro, click File>>Export,
Click Browse to choose where to save the backup file,
Type a name for it (anything you like)
Click Save,
Then Export.
To restore in future, (IF required) click File>>Import, locate the file you saved and click Import.
