I see this has been a rare but regular issue for many years now. It always so far involves the odd message from a list I am subscribed to. In each case, the solution has been to increase the spam throttle setting to 350 or 500 lines. I have done this, but it has made no difference. Any other suggestions? I believe I have the latest version of MWP (7.15.33).

Yes, some newsletter lists have massive headers, possibly you need even more than 500 lines? OR, the sender simply has no FROM field in their email for some reason....?

All the missing information from MW shows when viewed in Outlook, so the information is there. Also, I assume that the subject line is not affected by the size of the header, but I am not an expert in that respect. The fact that it only affects one discussion forum also makes me suspicious that there is more to this than header lines. How are "lines" defined in this respect? How can I check how many lines there actually are in the header? I know how to find the header, but lines can be defined in many ways.

When I refer to lines, I don't mean an actual line, but a row/line of text.

To find out how many, you'd need to save the emails raw source to a text editor which can tell you how many lines of text there is.
