checks mail automatically even though not selected

I installed the new MWP 2010 and noticed that it seems to download emails even though it is set to not do so. Any solution?

Did you turn off both settings?

I unselected all I could find.

Make sure you Save. I would also suggest that you close and restart MWP.

I did have both unchecked. But I had not restarted 2010. Will try that.
