I can download the update without any problem - -
BUT- -
It won't let me install it!
What is the problem please?

I have now installed the latest version on my third atempt.

Can you recall the error it was giving you ?

Admittedly, it was late, so I only tried it once on my LT from a clean download of the installer as the "check for updates" in the MWP2010 UI told me my software was up to date.
I haven't attempted it yet on the recently restored DT.

So, there seem to be 2 issues:
1) The updater in 1.0.10 doesn't seem to "work" -- it checks, but reports back that MWP is UTD when it isn't.
2) The installer for the new version (at least from that download link) doesn't run (and it contains a fix for problem #1?).

Feel free to merge this with the other thread.

1.0.10 otherwise working OK for now on both systems, so I'll wait to hear back before proceeding....
(I will write down the specific error or take a screencap next time it happens.)

That sounds like a corrupt download. I would just try again to download and save the installer file to your desktop and run again via there.
