One look at the headers from your bounce reports will easily identify it as a fake

It would never fool a professional spammer for one minute

and is not designed to.
A few years ago bouncing was a useful tool but now is 99% useless.
So what am I paying for? Is firestrust not able to simply emulate a correct "mail not delivered" returnmail which is normally used by my provider?

A mail which is not at once detectable by any nigerian spammer? Did firetrust cheat me all the years?
Do all smart guys or professionals only work for the "bad" side?
I've really tried hard to find a way to respond to your posts with some degree of respect - but the problem is that you are what is called a forum troll and have not got a bloody clue AT ALL about anything that you have posted here. Insults and false statement (repeated often) don't contribute anything worth one single electron used in my response.
And when you *think* your bouncing reduced your spam, sadly dude - you are really really mistaken. If anything, (and I find it difficult to believe anything you posted) any alleged reduction in incoming spam is more likely due to better tools from your ISP (or any of a number of other reasons) than bouncing by you. Spammers send millions of emails out all the time. Are you REALLY so important that out of the millions of people who were spammed by them, they even noticed you or paid any attention to anything you (or me or any of us) sent as a bounce? "Oh my god - he bounced me .... I've learned my lesson and will go away!" Dude, look up bots and spiders - if I got your email address then within a couple of minutes I'd eb able to locate your ISP and have your location down to within about 1 km or less. And I'm not a crook. I do this with scammers / spammers all the time as do thousands of others like me - some of these are scary good. Look up site killers - they are spoken about in hushed terms.
We waste HEAPS of criminals time and money - (the only things that matter to them) - and by doing so, prevent them using that time to harm real victims. But none of us are dumb enough to think that what we do will stop these criminals - there is too much money involved, and it a growing world business.
MWP is the best defence available for non techs - bouncing or not. Damn, you say some really stupid things and worst bit is that I think you really believe what you say.
Keep it real.
I am a spambaiter and deal with Nigerian criminals (and others from all over the world) - professionally. Look the term up and you might learn something. If I thought you were more than a self important noise maker doing a dummy spit, then I might give you info on how you can do a whole world of damage to criminal spammers / scammers. But based on what you have shown so far - it would be a complete waste of my time. You see, what I do (and it's the same with others like those at Firetrust) is work hard to protect people using my own time. In our case (scambaiters) we are not paid, risk harm and it involves a huge commitment of time and effort.
I could never recommend you to any professional group because you clearly don't display the right attitude to be a safe baiter - you might be an abuser. But then, all I have to go on is your rants so what would I know, right?
It's your choice to use or not use MWP - it's a free world. However, you don't have the right to spray bullshit about which you know stuff all and then go onto insult people who do know what they are doing, are going out of their way to help you here and are in the front lines of the fight - just because you can't bounce emails. When those who actually DO know what they are talking about patiently give accurate advice / information - you spray over the place like a whiny spoiled child.
FYI - Nigerian scammers are not all illiterate goat herders. Scamming / spamming is a vast international concern with billions of dollars. They operate in gangs, low level lads do the dog work - pass victims up through a gang and onto other gangs. They sell the victims to each other - and once a person become a scam victim (yes via spam or malware or driveby downloads - or pirated software or a slew of other means), then that person is repeated hit for months, often many years. Smarter than Firetrust coders? Quite possibly but not necessarily. These criminals have far deeper pockets than does Firetrust or any other developer producing anti-spam t0ols. Some deliberately infiltrate products (excellent products too) to gain access to and disable security tools - PDF Creator (sourceforge.net) installs malware and has done so for ages. They know because we tell them.
Dude who knows all - scammers operate on the law of large numbers: send out 100 million spam / scam emails. Get a 0.01% success rate (a response) - and they earn enough to drive mercedes around.
For anyone seriously interested in learning a bit more - look for great 419 scam bait videos on Youtube. They will have you rolling on the floor laughing your head off. We send these criminals chasing fake money all over the world and earn trophies in the process. Some of our baits last years - we deliberately target the scammers / spammers and do to them (with interest) what they do to real world victims.
Dude - apart from exposing your ignorance, what have you actually done to make a difference - bounced a couple of emails? Wow - I bow before your greatness. Get a refund and go away. On a good day, I might read your posts and roll around the floor laughing at your absurd comments - I have a weird sense of humour. But you have just gone way way too far. Go peddle your crazy somewhere else - I hear Microsoft love to hear from people like you
Please lock this thread - nothing this user says is accurate, helpful or useful: he is a forum troll - a keyboard hero bravely (anonymously) hurling insults against people who do put in the hard yards. And he is wasting our collective time.
