Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a. MSI returned error code 1603


What pray tell do I do about this?
I can't even get the new Mailwasher 2010 onto my computer.

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and look for .NET 2 first then click on it and it should then ask you to remove or repair. Select Repair. When it finishes reboot and then repeat if you also have .NET3. Then when all is well with .NET then run the MWP 2010 install again.

Do you have XP Service Pack 3 installed ? If you right click My Computer >> select Properties >> it should tell you there...
