Display problem

Sun Aug 22, 2010 2:30 am

Having downloaded MailWasher Pro 2010, I find that in the Inbox and Recycle Bin screens, the characters of the column headings and emails reported are shown as squares. In the preview window of the Inbox screen, the display is correct.

I would much appreciate any ideas on resolving this problem.

Many thanks.

What language do you have set?

Could you post a screen-shot to the forum? There is an upload attachment menu just below the posting area.

Do you have Calibri or Arial fonts installed?

I have Arial fonts installed but not Calibri fonts.

Do I need both?

IIRC the grid uses Calibri but falls back to Arial if it cannot find Calibri.

Have you tried un-installing (Keep user data when prompted), then re-install?

Not sure if repairing .net would help.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but without success.

I'll have a go at repairing .net. Thanks.

If the reinstall doesn't work try these settings to see if any make things better.

Very many thanks to stan_qaz and anniebrion for their prompt assistance. The problem was resolved by the repair of .net.

We aren't sure on the cause, but yes, repairing .NET seems to be the answer. With the fonts in the grid, if Calibri isn't found, MailWasher will use Arial I believe.
