[SOLVED] Can't launch OE

Hi to All
Just upgraded to the latest MWP and initially it asked to choose which mail program to use. I use Tiscali but it had 2 entries of the same ISP and so I put a tick in just the one.
I sent a test email to myself and it arrived OK in MWP but when I clicked on MAIL PROGRAM it doesn't open OE. I reinstalled MWP but nothing's changed.
If I completely uninstall it, I will lose any settings.
Please help?

Hi Maureen
Under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> is Outlook Express selected in the drop down list ?
If not try setting this >> Save >> then see if that works.

When I uninstalled the 2010 version, I didn't go via Add/Remove but used the uninstall, which I rarely do. It seems it's still on there!!
Anyway, checked the settings and there is definitely a tick in the boc to Launch email Program after Washing Mail.
Not sure what the problem is really. I suppose I could completely remove the old MWP first and then the new one BUT I'll have to do all my settings.

The old MWP has no affect over the new one they don't share any resources so deleting the old one will achieve nothing constructive.

And is Outlook Express selected as the mail program to open under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail ?

Oh, I see. I just wanted to revert back to the old one for the time being.
I've just had a look in Add/Remove and see I have two icons sitting there. I suppose it's OK to remove one of them? It's taking up valuable space!

Yes, I have just removed the old one and all seems to be OK now x x
