Hi,
I have recently installed MW and when I wash the mail it sends the junk to the bin and downloads the good mail to My Outlook folder.#
However after downloading the good emails they remain on the server, I know I must need to tweak a setting for it to remove the emails from the server after download but I can't find it can anyone help.
I'm running Windows 7 with IE8 and Microsoft office 2010
Thanks
Doug

This is outlook that need settings changed, IIRC by default OL2010 leaves copied of the email on the server and you have to switch this option off manually within OL2010.

I could be wrong as I don't have Outlook 2010 installed, but that setting to leave emails on the server ought to be
Tools, Account settings, Change, More Settings, Advanced

If running Eudora do as follows:Click TOOLS,OPTIONS,INCOMING MAIL, leave 'leave mail on server'blank.
All MW mail then clears when dowloaded to Eudora.

In outlook do this: EXTRA>>ACCOUNTS(select account)>>PROPERTIES>>ADVANCED>>(uncheck "leave copy on server...")
If you have more than one acount, repeat this for each account. "Et voila" as the french say...
