I have MWP set up so that it checks gmail/spam in the IMAP folder. I need some suggestions.
Should I uncheck the gmail/spam in the IMAP folder list so that it does not check? Then periodically empty my gmail/spam folder in gmail?
The account is old and get a lot of spam. I have a newer email that I use to replace the old account.
Or is there a way in MWP to automatically delete all emails showing up in Check Mail gmail/spam?
What is the more efficient way to handle it?
Thanks!

Re: Deleting gmail/spam emails
Yes, that is entirely up to you, you can either auto delete all mail in the spam folder, or leave gmail to handle it, (it'll remove the spam after 30 days anyway).
If you want MW to auto delete it, in MWPro click Settings>>Spam Tools>>Filters, click Add Filter, click, Add Rule, click the field where it says "Entire Message" and select "Account(s)" and select your junk folder.
Once you have it set up OK and are sure it is not marking good emails for deletion, you can set it to auto delete under the Actions tab.
