Can't get "not to me" filter to work

Can't get "not to me" filter to work

I have set each of my addresses: TO Doesn't contain. When the email comes in, it is labeled Not To Me but it actually IS to me. I don't understand this at all. I thought the idea was to catch those sorts of spam that are addressed to similar addresses to the real ones but this is picking up the real addresses.

Do you have the rules set to ALL?

Thanks for replies: Yes, I do have it sell to ALL. Have actually tried it both ways, ANY and ALL and they both seem to work the same

However, reading the suggested previous post, I wonder if it is because I have accounts with my ISP domain and also accounts from my website domain.I am pretty sure that the only one that is working correctly is my original ISP domain ie my first account. I will have to wait until I get more emails in to see exactly which ones are not being targeted.

Hi

As Rusticdog says, a newer V16 is due to be released. maybe today. I would just sit it out and see if it is sorted in the newer version. At least they are aware of the problem.

That is good news.

It was very strange this morning. Emails to my ISP account were fine EXCEPT for one: it was labeled Not To Me even though it was and the sender is on the Friends list!!! The others were all Not To Me and they were from my website so different incoming server.

Looking forward to the new version.

Thanks for reply. When I checked, I was told my software was up to date (it wasn't obviously) so downloaded the newest version manually. Will wait and see if it fixes the filters.

Just installed V19 and the "Not to me" filter seems to work now provided it is set to "All".
