Have just had issues trying to connect to Gmail and after trying to set up OAUTH. as per the message pinned in this forum I get an error message
Access blocked: MailWasherPro is not approved by Advanced Protection
The Advanced Protection Program performs additional security checks to safeguard your account data, and it hasn't approved this app. This security feature stops most non-Google apps and services from accessing your data to keep your account protected.

Yes, never seen that before actually so I'd have to check up on this... however you are using the latest 7.15.33 version?

OK, got word back on this, and sorry but no, there's nothing we can do as it's a Google policy feature and the only apps outside google that it allows are Outlook and thunderbird.
It would need to be disabled to allow MW to work...

The other option would be to turn off Google "Advanced Protection," IF you don't really need it. I don't have it activated on my Google Gmail account. As you found out, one has to weigh the pros and cons of really high-level security, be it in an anti-virus program or a browser. MWP successfully reads and filters my Gmails because I don't have "Advanced Protection" enabled.
It is a personal choice.
